As of February 1, 2022, upon the retirement of The Rev. John Klieve, The Rev. Dustin L. Anderson began serving the saints of St. John’s Lutheran, Port Washington as their vacancy pastor. Pastor Anderson is a Minnesota native. He attended Concordia University – Seward, NE and graduated from Concordia University – River Forest, IL in 2003. He received his M.Div. from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN. He was ordained into The Office of the Holy Ministry, June 24th, 2007 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Marseilles, IL, where he served as sole pastor until 2013. On May 5th, 2013, he was installed as pastor of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Carlinville, IL where he served until October of 2015.
For the last 7 years he and his family have been members of Peace Lutheran Church, Sussex, WI, where his children attend Peace Lutheran Academy. Since moving to Wisconsin, he has served as a pulpit supply preacher throughout the South Wisconsin and Northern Illinois Districts. He is blessed to be married to Staci, his wife of 11 years, and has been gifted four children, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Christian, and Charlotte. Pastor and his family make their home in Menomonee Falls. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, Cubs baseball and Vikings football.
