Apocalyptic math, it’s easier than you may think. 144,000 will be saved from Israel, but what about the rest of us? The 144,000 number is often used to try and scare the hell out of people. But in reality, it’s a proclamation of the good news of salvation. This is at the heart of the comfort that comes from the Book of Revelation. John is shown a vast multitude in white robes standing before the Lamb. Salvation is not just for the Jews, but for all who trust in Christ from every nation.

The Elder asks: “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have the come? ” What comfort is there for our tragic time and is this the great tribulation?

Join us at St. John’s Lutheran Church this Sunday at 9am for a message of comfort for times of great tribulation.
